its OK to be selfish

Think about it—that’s all I ask you to do.

Take a little time. Sit a little longer. Find a rhythm and a deep breath to call your own.

The more we honor ourselves—through stillness, care, and intention—the more we have to offer others. When we make space for self-care and self-awareness, we begin to live more consciously. We meet others on neutral ground, with compassion and presence.

We start to notice things: the warm tones of fall leaves, the light radiating through the clouds, or the quiet shape of a shadow across someone’s face. These small moments become doorways. We begin to create beautiful worlds—within and around us.

When we create space in our minds, in our actions, and in our being, we invite peace into our lives. And in turn, we reflect that peace outward, making the world a softer, kinder place.

Maybe it’s time to rewrite the old stories. Let go of meanings and attachments that no longer serve you.

Maybe being selfish is actually self-serving. Self-care.

So, like I said—
It’s OK to be selfish.
Go ahead. Try it.
